Kathleen Graham, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, joined as the Executive Director is January of 2014. Kathleen has worked for the Club for 14 years as both Program Director (2006-2009) and Operations Director (2009-2013) and oversaw the 2011 expansion of our new facility, as well as the 2017 outdoor expansion. Among her accomplishments within the Boys & Girls Club are building and enhancing programming, increasing club membership, organizing and managing special events, implementing and overseeing full day summer camp, improving facilities, and fundraising. She has developed and nurtured working relationships with families, the community and staff that resulted in positive activities and funding opportunities for the Boys & Girls Club.
Kathleen came to the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield to combine her love for children, her desire to put her ideas to good use and to give the youth of Marshfield something fun and productive to do after school hours.
Alexa Schnauck, Finance Manager of the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, joined the club in August 2012. Alexa received her B.A. from Middlebury College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education and went on to get her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Alexa has used her education in a variety of venues, from Residential Care for both adolescents and adults, Private Banking at Brown Brothers Harriman, substitute teaching, Home-Schooling for a year, and now as the Finance Manager at the Boys and Girls Club. This present position allows Alexa to put to use all her education and experience through working with the finances of the Club while focusing on the needs of our community of children and their families.
Katie was a member at the Boys & Girls Club in Library Plaza and has now worked at the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield for six years. She graduated from Bridgewater State University in May 2017 with her BA in Strategic Communication for Non-profit Organizations. She is very passionate about athletics and coaches for both Marshfield Youth Basketball and Marshfield Youth Lacrosse! Her favorite thing about working at the Boys & Girls Club is watching the members reach their goals & grow into young adults!
With more than 15 years’ experience working in public schools coupled with my adventurous spirit I bring an unconventional and unique perspective to the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield. My background in science and education has indirectly led me to my passion, advocacy of students with Learning Disabilities specifically Language Based Learning Disabilities. I am a Special Education Advocate along with being a certified teacher and trained in the Orton Gillingham Reading Program. I possess a Biology Degree and am working towards a Master’s Degree in Education.
When I am not focusing on creating engaging programs for the Club I am spending time with my true loves: my son’s Jacob and Duncan and my two dogs Levi and Molson.
